A 20-year-old expectant student at Mawego National Polytechnic was brutally stabbed to death on Saturday in a suspected love triangle.
Sheryl Awino, a first-year student pursuing a land surveyor course, lost her life and her unborn child after being attacked by her boyfriend, who is also a student at the institution.

In a related incident, another student, Boas Owino, died while being rushed to Homa Bay Referral Hospital after being stabbed by the same suspect. The altercation reportedly stemmed from a dispute over Sheryl’s affections.
