Global Peace Foundation Kenya director Hon Daniel Juma alias DJ will sponsor 200 families from Ugenya to register under National Health Insurance Fund.
Speaking during the burial of his daughter Selina Ojode Omondi the Ugenya parliamentary candidate expressed his dissapointment on the high number of Kenyans struggling to settle huge medical bills that could easily be taken care by the medical scheme.
Hon. Juma challenged the president and parliament to come up with legislation to govern insurance companies, he noted that a number of Kenyans have been disappointed when seeking claim from the campanies. He challenged the NHIF to revise their policy to include Covid19 as one of the ailment they can take care of. Juma said that in memory of his daughter he will continue helping vulnerable members of community, visiting hospitals and children’s homes.
