Four hustlers who stormed the office of William Ruto’s newly formed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) were today charged with creating disturbance.
Steve Gumbo, Dennis Nzeki, Simon Kamau and Erick Arimba were accused of breaching peace and creating disturbance when they allegedly threw stones at the UDA’s offices.
However, the four denied the charges today at the Kibera law court before senior magistrate Charles Mwaniki. As a result, their lawyer Holly Edward urged the court to grant them lenient bond terms on grounds that they were mere hustlers and that they did not pose any flight risk.
The judge released the four on a cash bail of Sh. 10,000 or an alternative bond of 150,000 Kenya shillings with the case set to be mentioned on 9th February.
