A man in Embakasi is reported to have severally stabbed his wife before taking away his life in unclear circumstances.
According to the police officers who have taken over the investigations, the man is said to have disagreed with the wife on some issues before deciding to land on the woman with a knife.
The Tuesday night incident happened at Standard Drive Court in Tassia where the couples had just moved in and according to the neighbors, the two lovebirds had been engaging in constant fights and quarrels.
In the meantime, the critically injured wife was rushed to the Mama Lucy Hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment as the man resorted to locking himself inside the house before taking away his life.
His body has since been taken to the City mortuary for a postmortem, with the police officers launching investigations into the matter in a bid to unravel what really transpired.
