Aisha Jumwa Mourns Death of Her Mother Sidi

Aisha Jumwa, once Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage, shared news of her mother’s death.

Her Sunday statement said Sidi died that morning after a quick illness.

It expressed deep grief over losing their dear mother Sidi to a short sickness.

Jumwa called her the family’s main support and core. She led a life full of love, care, and respect.

Sidi formed the base and spirit of the family. Love, kindness, and warmth marked her days. Her memory stays in our hearts always.

Jumwa closed with an Islamic prayer. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. It means we belong to God, and to Him we return.

As Chairperson of the Kenya Roads Board, Jumwa set the funeral for tomorrow at 10 a.m. It will happen at their home in Takaungu, Mnarani Ward, Kilifi North Constituency, Kilifi County.

Leaders and people started sending sympathy messages.

Kilifi Governor Gideon Maitha Mung’aro voiced his sadness. He mourned Mama Sidi Karisa Katana, mother of Hon. Aisha Jumwa Katana. Kilifi lost a caring parent and role model.

He offered sincere condolences to Aisha Jumwa and her family. Losing a parent is hard. The community prays for them now. May God give Mama Sidi peace forever. Amen.

Amina Mnyazi, former Board Director at Coast Water Works Development Agency and a giver to causes, sent her sympathies. She grieved with Kenya Roads Board Chairperson Hon. Aisha Jumwa over her mother’s death. She hoped for strength, comfort, and calm in this hard time. May her soul rest well.

Likoni MP Mishi Mboko shared her sorrow too. Pole sana dadaangu, Mheshimiwa Aisha Jumwa Katana, kwa kufiwa na mama Sidi Karisa. She prayed God brings comfort and power to endure the grief. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
