2022 Presidential candidates to sign Political Decency Charter

The Chairman of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission will Rev. Dr. Samuel Kobia has announced that all presidential candidates in the upcoming presidential elections will be expected to sign political decency charter to bind them to proper conduct in the upcoming 2022 presidential elections.

Dr. Kobia announced this during the ongoing virtual Global Peace Convention organized by the Global Peace Foundation where he spoke on the “Value based Peacebuilding” panel.

Kobia said his commission has embarked on a comprehensive roadmap bringing together the leaders of political parties including road shows to encourage a national conversation and educate people to be peacefull.

The Global Peace Convention is Global Peace Foundation’s biennial flagship convening which is being held virtually for the first time under the theme “Moral and Innovative Leadership in Peacebuilding for Our Changing World” .
