Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi on Tuesday confirmed that the deported Turkish businessman Harun Aydin had successfully arrived in his home country.
Through a post on his official Facebook handle, the Kapseret legislator condemned the “evil act” and vowed to continue doing business with Mr. Harun Aydin not just in the country but also abroad.
“My friend Harun Aydin landed safely in Turkey, he informed me that he happily joined his family back in Istanbul. The devils in this country tried to interrupt us but we thank God almighty for standing with us. We will however continue conducting our business interests not necessarily here in Kenya but across the world. No evil shall stand against the will of God.” Wrote Oscar Sudi.
The Turkish billionaire was on Monday morning “deported” to his country which saw his Kenyan allies criticize the government for treating him unfairly.
Consequently, his lead counsel lawyer Ahmednasir swore to use all the legal avenues available in a bid to bring him back to the country.
“As his lawyers, we will challenge the process to deport him, because deportation is done according to certain procedures and laws. The government cannot just deport somebody just because they’re a friend to the deputy president, that’s not an offence. So we will challenge that and bring him back to this country, whether it is this year or next year or the other year, it doesn’t matter.” Wrote Ahmednasir.
Harun Aydin was amongst the entourage in deputy president William Ruto’s aborted trip to the neighboring Uganda.
