
The Rally driver reportedly assaulted by his girlfriend in a Milimani apartment is now dead.
Asad Khan was pronounced dead at a Nairobi hospital days after alleged assault by Maxine Wahome who was arraigned and freed on KSh100,000 cash bail.
Khan passed away on Sunday, December 19, at the High Dependency Unit of the Avenue Hospital where he was battling for his life after the assault.
Asad’s brother Adil confirmed his brother’s demise stating that the family spent the last hours comforting the deceased.
“Yes, my brother Asad has finally left us. We had been at his bedside ever since he was admitted to the hospital with stab wounds. It is really sad,” he revealed. He added that his brother also lost a lot of blood, one of the major contributing factors to his death.
Asad according to his brother was devoted to ensuring Wahome succeeds as a rally driver, from training and nurturing her to fixing her cars. “It is my brother who trained Maxine and developed her talent,” Adil lamented adding that the deceased also played a pivotal role in aiding the accused’s family.
