Ray Omollo, the Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration, has joined fellow leaders in honoring the memory of Mzee Eliud Nyikal Okaka, the father of Seme Member of Parliament, James Nyikal.
In a heartfelt message shared on X on Sunday, April 12, 2026, Omollo praised Mzee Nyikal as a revered elder whose life was marked by meaningful contributions. He expressed his condolences, stating, “I extend my sincere sympathies on the passing of Mzee Eliud Nyikal Okaka, beloved father of Hon. Dr. James Nyikal. The announcement of Mzee Nyikal’s passing came on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from MP Nyikal via a Facebook post, where he reflected, “My Father has gone to be with the Lord. A life well celebrated.”
