Media personality and Royal Media Services news anchor Jeff Koinange announced on Monday 20th July 2020 that he has tested positive for Corona virus.
He has however said that he is doing well and that there is no cause for alarm. The legendary media personality broke the news this evening while emphasizing that he is feeling normal with no major signs.
“Folks, just to let you know, I have tested POSITIVE for Covid-19. I’m doing Good..NO symptoms…and my Family is fine. All my close contacts have been informed. Right now, I’m in self isolation. Many thanks to Royal Media Services Management for its Support. Stay SAFE & God Bless!’’ he tweeted
He has assured the nation that his family is safe and that all those people he had come into contact with have been informed. The news anchor is now under self isolation and thanked Royal Media Service for the support.
This development comes after Citizen TV comedian Charles Bukeko, who stars on the popular programme Papa Shirandula programme succumbed to covid19 last weekend.
Koinange missed his morning show, ‘The hot breakfast’ on Hot 96 FM after him and his co-presenter went for Covid-19 test at the Nairobi Hospital.
