
In a proactive operation, police in Isinya, Kajiado County successfully recovered government property and copper wire, targeting individuals suspected of engaging in theft and the trade of stolen goods.
Responding to actionable intelligence, officers conducted a raid on a suspected hideout in Majengo Estate, where they discovered that individuals were attempting to burn copper wire to remove its insulation.
Unfortunately, the suspects managed to escape prior to the officers’ arrival.
During a thorough search of one of the residences linked to the suspects, police uncovered several items, including Administration Police uniforms, a beret, a shirt, a jungle jacket, trousers, and a maroon belt.
Additionally, officers retrieved tools such as pliers, tin snips, solar equipment, and copper wire, among other valuable items.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has announced that detectives in Isinya are now leading the investigation, diligently pursuing leads to apprehend the suspects.
These dedicated detectives are also focused on recovering further stolen property and uncovering the full scope of the alleged criminal activities.
