The Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) cleared Deputy President William Ruto to run for President in the upcoming presidential elections.
Ruto becomes the 3rd presidential candidate to be cleared after Walter Mong’are of Umoja Summit Party and Professor Wajackoya of the Roots Party of Kenya.
The Deputy President thanked the IEBC and declared that he had confidence in their preparations for the upcoming elections. He then proceeded to address a political rally in Kamkunji grounds in Nairobi.
