Yaytseslav Truhov, a Russian national whose street approach videos have gone viral, remains at the centre of online debate after clips showed him meeting women in malls and later hosting them at his home. The footage, reportedly captured using smart glasses, shows him striking up conversations, asking for contacts and arranging follow-up meetings that later appear more private in nature.
One of the women featured in the trending clips, identified as Serina, has publicly defended herself, insisting her interaction with Truhov was strictly professional. According to her, she met him in her capacity as a real estate agent after he expressed interest in viewing property. She says the visit to his residence was solely for business discussions.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Serina explained that she cut the meeting short once she felt the discussion was shifting away from property matters and becoming inappropriate. She denied any personal involvement with Truhov and claimed the viral footage was edited or presented in a misleading way to suggest otherwise. The agent described the situation as humiliating, saying the controversy has caused strain in her family, including tension in her marriage.
Serina’s employer has since come out in her defence. In a circulating video, the boss confirmed that Serina had informed her beforehand about a meeting with a foreign client interested in property. The employer further stated that Serina later reported the meeting had ended abruptly after alleged inappropriate advances from the client. She maintained that her employee acted professionally and left immediately.
The controversy has widened after another woman featured in separate clips also denied any private involvement with Truhov. She claimed she provided a fake name and number to avoid further contact, arguing that the footage was edited to imply more than what occurred.
