
Langata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor Jalango this morning took to his social media to announce that he joined other Luo Mps to have breakfast with President William Ruto.
“Today we had breakfast with the president, I followed up on the Start date of the construction of affordable housing in Highrise ward and the completion of the Langata TVET. The project is on and the contractor is on ground, an extra 50Million has been located for the completion.” posted Jalas on his twitter.
Jalango had earlier on Sunday joined his party leader Raila Odinga at Kamkunji grounds in Kibra where a youth resistance movement dubbed Movement for the Defence of Democracy was unveilled.

The visit to Statehouse by the ODM MPs has caused controversy within the party which has accused President Ruto of dangling goodies to woe its members. The orange party termed some of the MPs who were at State House as “selfish leaders who only care about their stomachs and not the well-being of the millions of poor Kenyans.”
The legislators who attended the meeting with President Ruto are Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda, MPs Felix Odiwuor (Langata), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Paul Abuor (Rongo), Walter Owino (Awendo) and Independent MP Shakeel Shabir (Kisumu East).
