A court has ordered that the account of 21 year old student Felesta Nyamathira Njoroge be frozen for 90 days to allow the Assets Recovery Agency (ARA) to establish the source of funds deposited into her account by her Belgian boyfriend.
Felesta Nyamathira who is a student at Nairobi Technical Training Institute Njoroge had received over 100 million shillings inher newly opened bank account.
The ARA had told the courts that the lady opened an account with one bank in the country, and in two days, several transactions, deposits, amounting to over Sh100 million were made.It later emerged that she has a boyfriend by the name of Marc De Mesel who rewarded her with the money.
The boyfriend later released a video complaining about how the CID stormed his house and arrested him and his girlfriend as a result of the gift to his girlfriend who is the mother of his children.
