
President William Ruto on Monday 23rd January held talks with members of parliament from the Jubilee party at State House Nairobi. The meeting came just hours ahead of Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s Kamukunji rally.
In attendance were former and current Jubilee MPs among them East Africa Legislation Assembly (EALA) MP Kanini Kega and lawmaker, Sabina Chege, Zachary Kwenya (Kinangop), Irene Njoki (Bahati), Shadrack Mwiti (South Imenti), Amos Mwago (Starehe), Stanley Muthama (Lamu West), Lamu Senator Joseph Githuku, Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West), and Daniel Karitho (Igembe Central).
After the meeting also attended by Deputy President Rigathi Gachangua, the president posted on his social media that he endeavours to build a bigger and better team that will work together to effectively prosecute the agenda of the people of Kenya. “We cannot move our country forward by leaving others behind. With Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua at State House, Nairobi had a working breakfast with MPs from the Jubilee party led by Sabina Chege and Kanini Kega,” Ruto said.
