President William Ruto on 27th March held talks with President of Germany Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Schloss Bellevue, Berlin.
During the meeting coming on the second day of his 4 day tour of Germany, both presidents committed to deepen economic cooperation for mutual prosperity.
The leaders also resolved that Kenya and Germany will prioritize the elimination of non-tariff barriers to reduce the costs of doing business and ease the movement of goods between the two countries.
These will enhance investments by German firms in Kenya and improve the balance of trade between the two countries that currently favors Germany.
