Police in Bungoma have impounded a government vehicle under the custody of Kumilili MP Didmus Barasa which have been branded with campaign colours.
The NGCDF Kimilili Constituency motor vehicle with original registration number GK948J was the impounded in the homestead of the MP fully branded with UDA Colours and photos and fixed with registration number KBS 709D.
The vocal politician has however said he bought the vehicle as the MP for the area. “Over 55 officers came looking for me in my rural home because there is a vehicle that I was using which I bought as an MP who has been elected who takes care of my people’s grievances,” he said. Barasa said the officers should first arrest ODM leader Raila Odinga who is unelected but has over 20 government vehicles before arresting him.
