NTSA Summons Kenya Mpya bosses over fracas and mayhem in Kenol.

The National Transport and Safety Authority boss ,George Njao in consultation with the Inspector General of Police, on Monday the 5th of October summoned the bosses of Neo Kenya Mpya Commuters limited and Joy Kenya Services following chaos in Kenol ,Muranga county on Sunday the 4th of October.

Kenya Mpya busses were allegedly used to transport goon youths to the Deputy Presidents fundraising event in AIPCA Church Kenol, where chaos erupted before the arrival of the Deputy President leaving two people dead as others sustained serious injuries .Properties of un estimated worth were destroyed.

Via a tweet , NTSA summoned the officials as an implementation of the PSV Regulations ,2014. In relation to the chaos , the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambayi , ordered MPs Nyoro Ndindi of Kiharu and Alice Wahome of Kandara to appear before the DCI regional office in Nyeri to assist with investigations .The two are being accused of mobilising goons to cause chaos in Kenol. Wahome Alice was the host of the fundraising event that led to the mayhem and fracas.

The Inspector General also ordered the haunt and detainment of motor vehicles that were reportedly used to ferry goons ahead of the Deputy President’s arrival. The motor vehicles are to help with further investigations.
