National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Kuresoi MP Moses Cheboi was yesterday involved in a road accident along the Mau Summit-Molo road.
Cheboi who is said to have been driving a Mercedes Benz, collided with a motorcyclist as he tried to avoid potholes.
Daniel Misiani, the bodaboda rider, is said to have died on the spot while the pillion passenger, Wycliffe Kirongo sustained serious injuries.
According to Nakuru County Police Commander Titus Kizito, the lawmaker who sustained minor injuries was taken to a hospital in Nakuru town.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Molo Sub-County Funeral home.
The injured passenger is currently recuperating at the same hospital.
