Democratic Party has endorsed Kamala Harris as the potential Joe Biden’s replacement to face Donald Trump in this year’s US election.
The endorsement came barely hours after the outgoing President supported his vice to take up the mantle.
Kamala Harris is the current Vice President, and fits well as the heir apparent now that the current President Joe Biden has dropped out of the race, just after one term.
Harris would actually be the best replacement of out of favour Biden, but some quarters see her differently. In recent presidential interview, Biden polled badly against the rejuvenated Trump, but Harris still applouded the President.
Former US President Barack Obama has got a lot of influence in Democratic party circles, but he is yet to voice his thoughts even after the President succumbed to pressure from the inner circles of Democratic Party.
Many names have been flaunted as the best to face former President Donald Trump, including Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois State.
