Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front, has launched an online donation platform to rally financial support for his 2027 presidential campaign.
The website features a donation section titled “This Campaign Is Powered by You,” inviting supporters to contribute directly. Launched on June 6, 2026, it offers contribution options of Ksh500, Ksh1,000, Ksh2,500, Ksh5,000, and Ksh10,000, along with a secure payment system.
Kalonzo’s campaign emphasizes that every contribution impacts all counties, showcasing a grassroots approach for nationwide support. The website empowers citizens as active participants in the campaign, a strategy gaining traction in global politics.
In addition to donation requests, the site shares Kalonzo’s story, track record, and agenda, along with updates, event schedules, a gallery, and an online shop for branded merchandise.
This launch coincides with a surge in opposition momentum, although leaders have yet to finalize a single candidate against Ruto. Kalonzo articulated his vision for a united Kenya, ready to tackle economic and governance challenges.
Recent polls position him as a strong contender in a competitive race, with President Ruto currently leading at 24% support.
Regarding the absence of United Alternative Government leaders at his launch, Kalonzo reassured supporters that this doesn’t indicate division. He expressed confidence in the coalition’s unity and commitment to unseat Ruto after one term.
“I want to acknowledge my co-principals in the United Alternative Government for their solidarity,” Kalonzo stated. “I opted not to invite them this time, but I know they are with us in spirit. We’re a strong team!”
