Justina Wamae pulls her roots from Wajackoya-led party

Roots party deputy presidential candidate Justina Wamae today tendered her resignation letter to the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).

Taking it to her social media handles, the sharp-shooting Justina Wamae put it clear that she no longer belong to the the Roots party – having written her disengagement letter from the party to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).

“My role as Roots Party running mate elapsed when H.E. President William Ruto and H.E. Deputy Rigathi Gachagua were declared winners of 2022 presidential elections, and subsequent upholding of their election by the supreme court on the 5th September, 2022,” she said.

Justina won admires across the nation with her grasp of issues, and oratory skills during deputy presidential debate. Kenyans were surprised on how her detailed explanations on how they’d use marijuana and snakes to generate income for the country sunk in people’s hearts and minds.
On her response to Justina’s resignation letter, ORPP director Anne Nderitu confirmed recieving of the letter, and responded promptly.

“According to the records held by this office as at 22nd. September 2022, Justina Wamae is not a member of any political party,” concluded Mrs Nderitu.

This development is not going to catch Justina’s erstwhile leader, Prof George Wajackoya, as a surprise. Just in the run-up to the elections, there were visible cracks that were all over at summit of the party, as the presidential candidate himself was pulling to the opposite side with his running mate.

Prof Wajackoya himself has not responded to the latest developments in his Roots Party outfit.

Roots party deputy presidential candidate Justina Wamae has officially tendered her resignation letter as a member of the Prof George Wajackoya-led party.
