Upon her recovery from the poisonous bite, Dr Mutua built his parents a home.

“By God’s grace, years later, I have built mum a house where those deadly reptiles of Ukambani cannot easily access. Above all, God healed her body and soul and sustained her for 100 years to see her great-grandchildren. Whenever I visit her in the village, and we are ‘beating’ stories about life, remembering that incident and many more, we marvel at God’s grace!,” Dr Mutua reminisced.
