A section of youths claiming to be UDA leaders drawn from Nyanza counties on Tuesday accused Deputy President William Ruto’s Nyanza pointman Eliud Owallo of negligence and inability to link UDA head office with the people on the ground.
They said that Mr Owallo is unreachable and not committed to the course.
The group asked Hon Oscar Sudi to take over the leadership of UDA Nyanza region and hand it over to a different person.
They said that Mr Owallo is using his position to advance his political interest instead of championing for Ruto Presidency.
In response Mr Eliud Owallo distanced himself from the claims terming them baseless. Owallo said that the press conference was sponsored by political brokers who think UDA was a conduit to make money.
Owallo said he will not be intimidated by political merceneries and will continue executing his role as UDA coodinator Nyanza region..
