Bahati MP Irene Njoki Backs Ruto’s 2027 Re-Election Bid

Bahati MP Irene Njoki has committed to rallying support for President William Ruto’s 2027 re-election, emphasizing that leaders aligned with the Kenya Kwanza administration are dedicated to securing his second term.

During Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s visit to Uasin Gishu County on June 21, 2026, Njoki defended the government’s political strategy and urged supporters to unite behind President Ruto.

As a first-time lawmaker, she highlighted the importance of engaging with various communities and political groups to bolster support for Kenya Kwanza ahead of the upcoming elections.

“We’re here to elevate our people. We can’t all be on a pedestal; one must take the lead in sharing our message,” she stated.

Njoki argued that government-aligned leaders are reciprocating the support they’ve received from President Ruto by reaching out to other regions on his behalf. “We act because we recognize what he has done for us,” she added.

In a strong declaration about the 2027 presidential race, she assured supporters that Kenya Kwanza leaders would tirelessly work to ensure President Ruto’s victory. “We will ensure William Samoei Ruto is elected president in 2027,” she affirmed.

Her comments coincide with Deputy President Kindiki’s ongoing engagements in Uasin Gishu, where he meets residents and local leaders to outline the government’s development agenda. This signals a growing political mobilization within Kenya Kwanza as leaders actively position themselves for the upcoming elections, rallying support for President Ruto’s anticipated re-election campaign.
