
Siaya senator James Orengo has responded to claims by Ugenya MP David Ochieng that he is sabotaging the planned tarmacking Got Nanga-Sega road.
While addressing a rally in Yenga, Orengo clarified that the said road was his personal effort though the Roads Cabinet Secretary James Macharia.
Orengo asked David Ochieng to stop playing politics with a project he wasn’t part of.
Ochieng had earlier claimed that Orengo was making calls to have the contractor Gogni Rajope out of site.
According to Ochieng, Orengo has no history of development and is therefore out to undermine his progress.
Ochieng who is seeking re election for the third time on MDG ticket after fall out with ODM is confident that he will retain his seat.
Ochieng is facing stiff competition from Economist Daniel Odhiambo, Global Peace Foundation Kenya CEO Daniel Juma, Lawyer Rodger Sagana and former Ugenya MP Chris Karan.
