Raila meets former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan

Azimio One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga today held talks with former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan at his office in Nairobi.

President Jonathan who is in the country as head of the National Democratic Institute – International Republican Institute joint Pre Election Assessment Mission to Kenya was accompanied by the International Republican Institute Director of Africa division Mr. Greg Kearns, the President of the Public Pension and Investment Institute Mr. Lionel C. Johnson, the Deputy Chief of Party at Pact Zimbabwe Ms Barbara Ontibile Bhebe, the Resident Programme Director IRI kenya and Somaliland Mr. Yomi Jacobs and other members of the delegation. Raila was accompanied by his running mate and NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua.

“Great catching up with my long time friend former Nigerian President @GEJonathan who is leading the @IRIglobal/@NDI joint Pre Election Assessment Mission to Kenya. Our discussions centred on @IEBCKenya preparedness and the call for peaceful campaigns” said Raila Odinga after the meeting.
