Radio Africa Brands Dominate Online With 10 Million Followers

Radio Africa Group has hit an impressive milestone of over 10 million followers across its digital platforms, amplifying its reach beyond traditional radio and solidifying its presence in Kenya’s online media landscape.

The latest GeoPoll Q1 2026 Kenya Radio Audience Survey shows that this vibrant digital audience is spread across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube.

Facebook leads the way with over 4.9 million followers, followed by TikTok at 1.7 million, X at 1.3 million, Instagram at 1.2 million, and YouTube with over 900,000 subscribers.

This report reveals that the group’s radio brands are thriving online, enhancing their broadcast reach nationwide.

Radio Jambo stands out as the top performer on Facebook, boasting 2 million followers, and it shines on YouTube too, leading among Kenyan radio brands with 488,000 subscribers. It also ranks high on TikTok with 872,000 followers.

Kiss FM takes the crown on Instagram as the most followed radio brand, with 914,000 followers.

Classic 105 excels on X, maintaining its status as the leading English-language radio brand with 568,000 followers.

The report emphasizes how the group’s digital presence perfectly complements its radio offerings, giving audiences access to diverse content across various platforms.

With audiences spread across 11 regions, Radio Africa Group effectively engages listeners through simultaneous campaigns on radio and over 10 million social media interactions.

These results highlight the exciting blend of traditional broadcasting and digital media, as radio brands connect with audiences through social media alongside their on-air content.
