Police this morning arrested comedian Eric Omondi while leading a demonstration of shirtless men outside parliament.
The controversial comedian was demanding that the Government lowers down the high cost of living.
Omondi and other bare chested heavily built youths with chains brought business around parliament to a standstill. The youths were carrying placards written “high cost of living” high cost of electricity” “stima juu, taxi juu” among other publications.
The police used teargas to disperser the protestors when they refused to heed police orders to to disperse. In the ensuing melee, the popular comedian was arrested and driven away from the scene.
