
The Public Service Commission has released the names of the 224 Kenyans shortlisted to be appointed Chief Admirative Secretaries in the Kenya Kwanza Administration. The publication follows the ruling by the Employment and Labour Relations Court which declared the establishment of the office of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) as constitutional.
Some of the big names shortlisted for appointment include former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, former Rarieda MP Eng. Nicholas Gumbo, former nominated MP Wilson Sossion. former nominated MP Isaac Mwaura, former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, former Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri, former Tana River Governor Hussein Dado, former Kirinyaga Woman Rep Purity Wangui Ngirici.
Other notable names include former basic Education PS Julius Jwan, University of Nairobi lecturer Fred Opiyo Jonyo, former KTN Journalist Lindah Ogutu, Siaya Senator’s son Moses Omondi Oburu, and Dr. Timothy Ochieng Olweny of the Kenya Private Hospitals Association.
According to a statement from the Public Service Commission the shortlisted candidates are expected to attend interviews as from March 1st 2023.
