President William Ruto calls for National Unity

President William Ruto has reaffirmed his commitment to uniting the country by encouraging collaboration among leaders for the greater good.

Speaking after a church service at Koiwa AIC in Bomet County on Sunday, Ruto emphasized the importance of leadership in guiding the nation.

He urged Kenyans to reject divisive politics and work towards fostering national unity. “I have decided and I’m determined to unite Kenya. Bomet people, I ask you, should I continue uniting the country, or should we be a divided country?” he asked during a roadside rally.

The President called on citizens to support his government’s development agenda, which focuses on key sectors such as power, infrastructure, healthcare, and education. “I urge you to be united in supporting these projects so our youth can get employment and the country moves forward,” Ruto stated.

In addition to his development message, Ruto encouraged residents to serve God wholeheartedly, acknowledging the divine influence in their lives. “Apart from the effort we put in our day-to-day lives, there is also God in heaven who plays a huge part in our success,” he said.

During the service, Ruto called on the congregation to pray for the nation as they prepare for 2025. He also reflected on his administration’s achievements and the challenges faced so far. “When this year began, most of our plans had not taken shape, but I am happy that projects like the construction of markets are progressing well nationwide; the affordable housing project is also doing well, with more developments to come in the new year,” Ruto concluded.
