An opinion poll released on 14th July has said the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is the most popular political party followed in Kisii county followed by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
The polls released by Trends and Insights for Africa (TIFA) say ODM is the most popular party in Kisii county.
The polls also say Raila Odinga is the preferred presidential candidate among the Kisii voters at 61% followed at a distance by William Ruto at 20% according to research conducted between 5th to 7th July this year. The polls also say Paul Simba Arati is the most preferred gubernatorial candidate at 66% amongst the voters in the county while Richard Onyonka is the most preferred senatorial candidate at 27% with 51% of the respondents still undecided.
The research also found that Azimio La Umoja is the most popular coalition in Kisii County at 57% followed by Kenya Kwanza which is at 20% while Donya Toto is the most preferred Women Representative candidate at 32%.
