Kiunjuri says TSP will enhance his 2022 bargaining power

Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has said that the Service Party of Kenya which he recently unveiled  will give him a better bargaining power come 2022.

Speaking to Jeff Koinange Live on citizen TV, Kiunjuri asserted that the party is open to work with Kenyans who share its vision. He was however unable to give a direct answer when asked whether he was planning to work with Deputy President William Ruto.

He further added that the formation of The Service Party of Kenya was not a slap on the President’s face and added that he fully respects the President and recognizes his leadership both as President and as the Central Kenya kingpin and was honoured to serve in his cabinet for the last 4 years.

On claims of money laundering and corruption, the former CS said that he is ready to meet his accusers in court if they have evidence against such claims reiterating that he will not give in to any form of intimidation from anybody.
