Mary Temas Urges Emurua Dikirr to Keep MP Seat in Ng’eno Family

Mary Temas, the mother of the late Johana Ng’eno, has called on the Emurua Dikirr constituency to retain the parliamentary seat within their family, emphasizing the importance of continuing her son’s legacy through the children he educated.

During the mass service and funeral for Johana Ng’eno and others lost in the tragic plane crash on February 28, 2026, she passionately stated that leadership should honor her son’s contributions to the community.

“To the president, regional leaders, and the people of Emurua Dikirr, we will keep the MP seat in our family,” she declared on March 6, 2026.

Mary highlighted that her late son ensured his children received a quality education, equipping them to serve the constituency effectively.

“I have educated all my children up to university; they hold degrees and more. I present them to the people of Emurua Dikirr to choose their next representative. This is my most important message today,” she said.

Additionally, Mary shared a deeply personal vision she believes affirms the continuity of leadership within her family, reflecting her spiritual bond with her late son and the community’s future.

“Just a week before Johana’s passing, I dreamed of being guided by government leaders to hold a leadership seat. They mentioned the presidential seat, and I questioned how this would happen at my age. This dream signifies that leadership in Emurua Dikirr will remain within our family,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Ng’eno’s personal assistant pledged to uphold the late MP’s legacy.
