King Kaka and his wife Nana Owiti dump each other

Talented Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima popularly known as King Kaka and his wife Nana Owiti have put an end to their marriage.

While revealing the news for the first time through his X page, King Kaka stated that the decision to go separate ways with Nana Owiti was not an easy one to make.

“We honestly never thought we would one day write a statement like this but life happens. After much reflection and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship,” read part of the statement

The two lovebirds who have been in a relationship for more than 13 years stated that they will still have a special bond and recount the countless memories they have shared despite the breakup.

“Over the course of 13 years, we have shared countless memories, built a life together, and most importantly raised three incredible children who will always be our top priority,” the statement read in part.

They further requested Kenyans to give them privacy during this lowest moment so that they can nurse their heartbreaks and lick their wounds in peace.

“This decision was not made lightly and we remain deeply committed to maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship as we move forward separately. As public figures, we recognise that our personal lives may attract attention but we kindly ask for privacy and understanding during this time as we navigate this transition as a family,” King Kaka revealed.

Unlike many couple that separate bitterly, the two added that they would do joint parenting so that the kids are not affected in any way by their divorce.

“Our focus remains on co-parenting our children with love, stability, and respect. They are the heart of everything we do and their happiness and well-being will always come first. We are grateful for the love and support we have received throughout our journey together and we ask for your continued kindness as we take this next step,” he stated.

The statement continued: “This is a joint decision made with mutual respect and we look forward to embracing the future as individuals while continuing to co-parent with the same partnership and dedication we’ve always had. Thank you for respecting our privacy,”
