Kenyan social media “Palscity” Global Launched in Nairobi

Kenyan tech Innovators on Friday 4th December 2020 launched a new interactive social media site dubbed Palscity in Nairobi. The innovation is set to provide Kenyans with alternative to international social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Linked and many others.

Speaking at the Grand launch streamed live on Zoom, Youtube, Twitter and Facebook, Chief Guest Danie Juma Omondi congratulated the Kenyan innovators led by Mr. Alphonce Juma of Oracom Websolutions for the new innovation which has so far enlisted close to 2000 subscribers and growing.

“Today’s launch is proof enough that Kenya is indeed a hotbed of Innovation and Entrepreneurship as remarked by our own President Uhuru Kenyatta during the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit held in Nairobi with US 44th President Uhuru Kenyatta” said Mr. Omondi who is the Executive Director of the Global Peace Foundation Kenya.

Mr. Omondi urged Kenyans to support such local innovation by subscribing in large numbers. Others who spoke at the launch include Kenya’s Ambassador to China H.E. Sarah Serem, the Group CEO of Infinity Point BA of Denmark Mr. David Svarrer, the CEO of Youth Agenda Mr. Kevin Keya, KANU Party official Betty Adera, Prof. Joseph Kiplagat from Moi University, Digital Marketing Trainer Janet Machuka among others.
