Fred Matiang’i Joins Western Kenya Opposition Tour

Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Fred Matiang’i joined his colleagues from the United Alternative Government for a tour in Western Kenya. They kicked off the day in Trans Nzoia County with a warm breakfast hosted by Governor George Natembeya.

The tour will conclude with stops starting at a church service in Kibabii, followed by meetings with residents in Chewele, Misikhu, Naitiri, Kiminini, and Kitale Town.

“I’m excited to join my colleagues today in Trans Nzoia County,” Matiang’i expressed. “After a warm welcome from Governor Natembeya, we’ll worship at Kibabii and then connect with residents in various towns.”

“Together, we’re listening to the people, building consensus, and promoting a united vision for a prosperous Kenya,” he added.

As conversations unfold, the focus remains on engaging with wananchi, fostering unity, and advancing solutions for a brighter future for all Kenyans.

The Western Rally

The United Opposition’s political tour in Western Kenya is entering its final phase, with leaders planning key stops to strengthen support ahead of national engagements.

The campaign will kick off in Kibabii, a vital education and community hub in Bungoma County, before moving to Chwele.

Next, the leaders will visit Naitiri and Misikhu, which have historically been central to regional political mobilization.

The convoy will then head to Kitale, the economic heart of Trans Nzoia County, where a major rally is anticipated to draw supporters from across the region.

Finally, the leaders will stop in Kiminini, a growing urban center increasingly important for political engagement.

As the tour wraps up, the United Opposition will pivot to upcoming national strategy meetings and broader coalition-building efforts across the country.
