Kenyan CNN Anchor Larry Madowo has been bitten by the love bug in the form of fellow journalist Edith Kimani.
Both took to their Instagram to declare their love for each other by posting similar pictures of themselves in tight affectionate embrace. Edith captioned the photo she posted with: “My sweet Larry Madowo,” while Larry simply stated “Hey Edith Kimani followed by three scandalous love emojis. 🥰😍😘
This is the first time the public gets to have a glimpse of Larry Madowo’s love life which he has certainly succeeded in keeping secret.
Excited Kenyans led by their media colleagues commented with congratulatory messages to the two media love birds encouraging them to make their union official.
A former KTN anchor, Edith Kimani moved to Germany where she works at the German’s Deutsche Welle as a news anchor and reporter.
Before that she he was the East African Correspondent reporting on environmental issues and she hosted the DW’s show called Eco@Africa. She currently hosts a youth show called The 77 percent.
Before joining CNN, Madowo a former NTV anchor worked as a Business editor with the BBC Africa, a job he later left in 2019 to further his studies at Columbia University in the US on a journalism fellowship.
