Caleb Kositany removed as Jubilee Party Deputy SG

The ruling Jubilee Party has fired Soi legislator Caleb Kositany from the party’s deputy secretary general post and and replaced him with Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny.

The decision was announced on March 1st 2021 by Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju after a National Management Committee meeting.

The development comes just days after Jubilee Vice-Chairman David Murathe announced that the ruling party would hold a national management committee meeting and kick out the errant legislator from the position. Kositany is an ally of Deputy President William Ruto, who is not reading from the same script as the party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta.
