Caleb Amisi Mourns Raila and Sister Beryl in Heartfelt Tribute

Caleb Amisi, the Saboti Member of Parliament, has stated that it is difficult to let go of the late Raila Odinga.

Caleb shared a photograph on his verified official X handle on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, of the late Raila Odinga with his late sister Beryl Achieng.

As Caleb looked at the photo of Raila, the more his heart felt the weight of grief increasing.

Raila has received praise from Caleb Amisi.

“This is a deep heartache!” Caleb wrote, conveying intense emotion as he reflected on the loss. The more I glance at Baba’s photo, only to remember he is no more, the more grief I feel,” he posted on X.

Caleb viewed Raila not only as a political mentor but also as a personal guide.

“He was more than just a political father figure,” he said, pointing out that his passing created a profound emptiness that no words can easily fill.

In the same emotional post, Amisi associated the grief with Raila’s sister’s recent passing.

A fantastic person is gone, and I’ve lost his sister once more. “He described the pain as extreme, highlighting that the family is still experiencing one devastating event after another.”

He also extended his sympathy to the Odinga family after the death of Beryl Achieng Odinga.

Beryl Achieng Odinga’s passing away

“I’m devastated to learn of Beryl Achieng’ Odinga’s passing, a loss that has occurred far too soon after Raila’s death,” Caleb said.

“Her passing so soon after the late Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga has made this season even harder for the family,” he added, offering his prayers for comfort and strength during this painful time.

Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga also joined Kenyans in paying their respects.

“I join Kenyans in mourning with the family and friends of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga over the death of Beryl Achieng Odinga,” Omanga said.

She commented, “May the Odinga family discover the strength, solace, and dignity they need during this challenging period,” reflecting the country’s collective grief and unity.

Tributes keep flowing in, and the Odinga family remains warmly welcomed by messages of love, prayers, and cherished memories.
