Activist Morara Kebaso appeals to Kenyans for help with vehicle repairs

Kenyans are expressing surprise and concern as activist Morara Kebaso, leader of the Inject political party, reaches out for assistance in repairing his vehicle.

In a post on social media platform X, Kebaso revealed that his vehicle is experiencing brake issues, specifically with the actuator, and he is facing repair costs exceeding KSh 150,000.

“Hello Kenyans, your vehicle has a brakes problem. We are being charged more than KSh 150,000 for the actuator. Kindly help me get a better price,” he wrote. Kebaso noted that he has contacted five different auto shops, but the costs remain prohibitively high. He expressed gratitude for any assistance, particularly if someone could provide the motor part alone.

Kebaso’s appeal includes a contact number for WhatsApp messages: 0758.307.727, and he specified the part needed—an ABS pump brake master cylinder booster actuator for a 2005-2009 Lexus GX470 (part number 89541-6006).

Morara Kebaso gained prominence for his activism, particularly for posting videos that expose unfinished government projects initiated by President William Ruto. His current plea for help illustrates the difficulties faced by many Kenyans and highlights the unexpected challenges even public figures encounter.
