Wajackoyah meets Gachagua at a funeral

Roots Party leader Prof. George Wajackoyah has confessed the start of their camaraderie with Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua.

The two leaders met at a funeral in Nyandarua during the burial of Priesthood Church Bishop JJ Gitahi’s mother. Professor Wajackoyah also made it known that it was the first time that he shared a podium with the Deputy President, whom just two years ago were fierce political nemeses.

“My friendship with the Deputy President has begun today, this is the first I have shaken the hand of this man and I thought he will slap me,” he said.

He added that politics are extended outwards, inviting the Deputy President for a cup of tea to Mumias.

“I’m extending an olive branch to you my brother that politics is extended outwards, but in Kenya we are ok. I’m inviting you to come to Mumias and have a cup of tea with the Wanga people, following who I am today.”

The law professor has lately been seen aligning himself with Azimio leaders.

It’ll be a wait and see scenario of how things will pan out in a recent future.
