Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has reiterated his dedication to collaborating with Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka to “save” Kenya and restore constitutional democracy in preparation for the 2027 General Election.
On Thursday, September 10, 2026, Sifuna shared these insights following a meeting with Kalonzo at his Nairobi residence, where they enjoyed a morning tea together.
In a post on X, Sifuna emphasized that opposition leaders reached a consensus that Kenyans with genuine intentions must unite to transform the nation’s political landscape.
“Had a productive catch-up with ndugu @skmusyoka over a cup this morning at his Nairobi residence,” Sifuna shared.
“We agree that those of us who genuinely care must join forces to rescue our country from this ‘mambo matatu’ regime and restore our constitutional democracy. We are committed to doing whatever it takes,” Sifuna affirmed.
This meeting occurs as opposition figures strategically position themselves ahead of the 2027 General Election, with Kalonzo emerging as a prominent presidential contender alongside other notable candidates.
