Azimio One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga’s clad in ‘Jeshi Ya Baba’ regalia spark online debate ahead of anticipated declaration of mass action following the 14 days ultimatum to address the cost of living by government that lapsed yesterday.
Pictures of the former Prime Minister’s new outfit was shared on Azimio’s Movement for the Defence of Democracy twitter handle. The group that calls itself Jeshi la Baba (Baba’s army) also announced that the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance will hold a media briefing at 2;30pm at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation.
The opposition boss had demanded the President tame inflation, address the high cost of living and halt the process of reconstituting the electoral commission among other issues.
He is expected to announce the next course of action which could include mass action, storming State House, economic boycott of certain products, removals of President Ruto’s portraits in offices and resisting government agenda in Parliament.
