The family members of the Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Amollo Odinga have revealed that he is in a good shape and may be discharged in the next two days.
According to Raila’s elder brother Mr. Oburu Odinga, the opposition leader’s personal doctor Dr. David Olunya gave assurance to the family that it was not covid-19 illness and that he was in a good shape.
“It shows a possible negative test, but i cannot authoritatively confirm this because I’m not a medical doctor. You can reach out to Dr Olunya for further details.” Revealed Dr Oburu to Nation.
On her side, Raila’s daughter Rosemary also disclosed to the public that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader is safe.
“He is okay and is recovering. No cause for alarm.” She said over the phone while speaking to Nation.
Earlier yesterday, Raila Junior thanked everyone for showing concern on how his father was doing, reiterating Oburu’s sentiments that the former prime minister was in good condition.

“Thanks everyone who called to find out how Baba is. He is good and actually called for a few minutes to speak with his grandson about school and the importance of porridge. He is in very good spirits.” Stated Raila Jr.
In the meantime, Raila will not be resuming the BBI campaigns after he is discharged from the hospital. A team of doctors recommended that he takes rest from the vigorous political activities in a bid to recover fully.
