Principal Secretary for Interior Raymond Omollo has urged Kenyan leaders to refrain from negative criticism of the government and instead focus on supporting its mandate.
Speaking in Rarieda constituency on Saturday, Omollo emphasized that leaders have a responsibility to be accountable and responsible for their actions.
He expressed concern that negativity surrounding the government has permeated society and called for a collective effort to address this issue. Omollo also encouraged candidates who recently completed their KCSE examinations to pursue higher education, highlighting the government’s significant investment in the education sector.
“Let us support those who need to go to universities or TVETs. This administration has invested a lot of resources in the education sector,” he stated.
Moreover, Omollo praised Azimio leader Raila Odinga for allowing President William Ruto the necessary time and environment to provide services effectively. He also called on Nyanza residents to grant their elected leaders the same patience to fulfill the development promises made during the last general election campaigns.
As the government continues to work on its initiatives, Omollo’s remarks serve as a reminder of the importance of unity and collaboration in driving national progress.
