New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed harassed multiple women, and in doing so violated federal and state law according to the State Attorney General Letitia James.
The AG announced on Tuesday during a Press Conference that at least 11 women including a former employee were victims of the Governor’s actions.
The findings are as a result of a months-long investigation that saw investigators speak to almost 200 people, including his staff and some of those who made complaints against the governor.
In a tough hitting statement the AG said Cuomo harassed members of his own staff, members of the public and other state employees, one of whom was a state trooper and engaged in nonconsensual touching, groping, kissing and hugging, and made inappropriate comments toward numerous women.
The probe reveal “a deeply disturbing, yet clear, picture,” said the AG describing Cuomo’s Executive Office as “a toxic workplace.”
