Hon Johnstone Bwire Makabwa of Nangina ward has signed an agreement with Gothenburg technical college in Sweden in bid to ensure Nangina residents realize development.
Yesterday they oversaw the repair of Sirekeresi liftpump which for a long time has not been operational. This repair will see to it that the water shortage in the area is addressed. Residents of Sirekeresi expressed their joy upon seeing the first drop of water for the first time after a while.
The MCA Hon Makabwa thanked the partners for chosing his ward for different projects, he said that was a sign of trust they had in him.
The partners promised to continue supporting different development activities within the ward ranging from education , health and sanitation.
Johnson Makabwa is a first time MCA who took over from John Obwogo who served for two terms.
