A fear for our generation..
Not a usual fear but I fear that we may also repeat the same mistakes that our Fathers are doing at thee time.
A fear that we may also deceive our children we’re truly independent at the this time yet we don’t control our economies neither politically nor economically.
A fear that we may also fear to tell our children the truth that our poverty is carefully and artificially geared on such richest land where our resources and currencies and trade are systematically managed by foreign policies and strategies.
A fear that we may also discourage our children that black is evil and black clothes are meant for burials yet black is beauty and an essence for all colours.
A fear that we may also deceive our children that before white Man’s invasion Africa was a dark continent and whose physical features were discovered by whites yet Africans had settled for centuries.
A fear that we may also teach our children to hate our culture and religions and technology but to love others yet we need to embrace and rely on ours for Africa to be made and all to be safe.
A fear that we may also make our children believe that an African from another country is a foreigner yet we’re all blacks and Africans.
A fear that we may also cherish tribalism in state matters yet there’s no any tribes that makes and owns Africa.
A fear that we may also be divided by politics of hate speeches and political creed in our parliaments and governments with permanent opposition and proposition yet we need true leaders not political leaders to move Africa forward.
A fear that our leaders may be drunken with greedy for powers and wealth ( corruption and dictatorship) as it is these days yet we’re suffering because of these devilish vices.
A fear that we may also fear to tell our colonial masters that Africa is old enough to solve her problems yet our suffering is as a result of foreign interference.
